Our mission is to ensure that young people experiencing out of home care will be supported through their transitional years to develop the competencies to realize their potential as adults. Since 2003, IMS has been offering unique services to support youth in and from foster care. These services and support would not be possible without the generosity and expertise of others.

Although our mentors must be alumni of foster care, there are many ways to be involved with In My Shoes.  Our programs would not exist without financial contributions from our supporters. In My Shoes is always looking for volunteers, financial contributions and much needed items for our youth and young adults.

The success of our program depends on you!.  Whether you want make a financial contribution, volunteer or have items to donate to a youth or young adult, there are many ways to contribute to In My Shoes! You can now make a tax deductable donation right from our web-site!

In My Shoes, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit agency. We are housed out of donated office space and have very little overhead costs. With only two paid employees, most of our funds go directly towards program costs. In My Shoes is always looking for financial contributions but will openly solicit funds for our memorable events.

Gift Cards & Tickets
If you would like to donate gift cards to the movies, eateries, parks or shopping, there are many uses at IMS. If you have extra tickets to an activity and would like to donate them to one or more of our matches, please let us know. 

School Supplies
The start of a new school year can be a very exciting time.  Please help this exciting time in a young adults life even better by donating new school supplies to help make their school year a huge success.
