Mary Blessington

My hiking boots favorite shoes because they allow me to climb as high as I want and to be in Nature, my favorite place to be, if I’m not working with young people. I have been a therapist and clinical supervisor for the past 20 years, first in the public mental health system and then with Casey Family Programs. I am currently in private practice. I provide clinical consultation and I am teaching an Ecological Approach to Practice with Children, Youth and Families at Arizona State University’s School of Social Work, Tucson component. My favorite extracurricular activity is the work I do for In My Shoes, the one and only mentoring program built especially for and by foster youth. I am proud to serve the Strong! Amazing! Resilient! foster youth and alumni of In My Shoes.
